An Annie, a JaguarGator and a Urinating Tree

I make no apologies for my football fandom. I support the Pittsburgh Steelers, and I think every other team in the NFL is a sad third-place at best squad.

That being said … the afternoon AFTER each week’s NFL games, I search out three different YouTube content creators for their take on the week’s big games.

I start out with Annie Agar. Agar is a content creator who came up with a solid gimmick – imagining the NFL coaches and players as part of a Zoom meeting, with her playing the parts of all the NFL players. It can get a bit chaotic, but it’s fun to watch.

For example, here’s last week’s NFL Zoom meeting, the week where the Giants and Commanders fell into a tie, and the Colts played like what colts leave behind on the grass.

I also follow the content creator JaguarGator9, who puts together deep dives into the worst plays of the week, as part of his series “Dumb Decisions.” If you can get through the ethereal background music, and the same video clips of the coach walking along the sidelines, and the 20 minutes of JaguarGator9 venting and kvetching like someone cut him off in traffic … it’s quite a fun listen.

This was last week’s “Dumb Decisions,” featuring – yep – that Commanders-Giants tie ball game.

but of course, if you want the cherry on top of the NFL sundae, you need the videos from Urinating Tree. He does two different recaps, one called “The Greatest Game” – well, with tongue firmly planted in cheek … and another called “This Week in Sportsball,” which recaps the entire NFL week. I’d like to show you some of that today … but his videos are link-blocked, so you have to go to YouTube to watch them. As can be seen below.

Yeah, you have to be careful when showing NFL footage. The NFL can copyright-block you, or make you take down your content. So I don’t dare post any more shots of last week’s Giants-Commanders FUBAR game. Ha.

But later today, when I get a chance, I’ll check out the updates from all three of these NFL content creators.

And I’ll have a good laugh at them.
